Koulouridis Elias Chair
Elias Koulouridis received his Physics Degree in 2003, his MSc in Theoretical, Computational Physics and Astrophysics in 2005 and his PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Patras in 2009. He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher and then a fellow in the National Astronomical Observatory of Athens until 2015. During the period 2015-2019 he worked as a senior postdoctoral researcher in the Département d’Astrophysique of CEA / Saclay in France. In 2019 he joined IAASARS/NOA as an Associate Researcher.
Antonis Georgakakis

Antonis Georgakakis obtained his PhD in Astrophysics from the Imperial College London (UK) in 1998. He was Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Birmingham (UK) (1998-2000), at IAASARS (2002-2005) and at the Astrophysics group at the Imperial College (UK) (2005-2006). He was a “Marie Curie” fellow at the Astrophysics group at the Imperial College of London (UK) during 2006-2008. In 2008 he joined IAASARS as an Associate Researcher. From 2011 until 2016 he was on leave of absence at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics in Garching (Germany). In 2018 he was promoted to a Senior Researcher.
Spyros Basilakos

Spyros Basilakos is a cosmologist with a career spanning scientific research, academic teaching and science communication. He has held a number of academic positions at various universities around Europe. Spyros Basilakos is the head of the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) at the National Observatory of Athens. He is President of the Greek National Committee for Astronomy that advises the Greek government for issues which are related with Astronomy and Astrophysics. Also, he is the National Delegate in the International Astronomical Union (IAU).

Since 2009 Dr Panos Patsis serves the Research Center for Astronomy of the Academy of Athens as a Research Director and Acting Director.

Padelis Papadopoulos is an associate professor at the Department of Astrophysics , Astronomy and Mechanics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
