ScyLight pilot station at Helmos Observatory
The first ground station of the ambitious ARTES ScyLight
The European Space Agency (ESA) has decided to build the first ground station of the ambitious ARTES ScyLight program next to the Helmos Observatory in Achaia, the National Observatory of Athens’ largest research center.
ESA’s ScyLight (Secure and Laser communication technology) program supports the research, development, and evolution of optical communication – laser – technologies, and provides flight opportunities for their in-orbit verification.
